Disney’s Yacht Club Resort

Disney’s Yacht Club Resort is the bolder and more sophisticated sister in the Disney’s Beach and Yacht Club property. It has a formal New England nautical feel with lakeside charm. Disney’s Yacht Club Resort first opened in November 1990. It has 630 rooms. It is part of the Deluxe level of Disney resorts. It’s nestled next to it’s sister resort right on Crescent Lake, across the lake from the BoardWalk Inn. It’s a short walk to the International Gateway entrance of EPCOT and a boat ride or 15 minute walk away from Hollywood Studios. Disney’s Yacht Club first opened in November 1990. It has 630 rooms. It has a Martha’s Vineyard theme.

Pros:

  • lots of in-room storage

  • all rooms have a balcony

  • Location is incredible - EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and Boardwalk

  • Pool and cabanas are amazing

  • newly renovated

  • walking distance to 2 parks

  • extended evening hours - Deluxe resort

  • watch EPCOT fireworks from resort

  • Great table service dining options

Cons:

  • minimal Disney themeing, adult resort feel

  • Price - Deluxe resort

  • buses shared with Beach club

  • large pool may not be best for young kids

  • EPCOT fireworks are loud - not good for littles who go to bed early
