Resort History

Disney's Riviera Resort is a Disney Vacation Club resort located at the Walt Disney World Resort in Bay Lake, Florida. Positioned between Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios, it is the inaugural resort to be linked with the Disney Skyliner gondola system and marks the 15th Disney Vacation Club property. The theme of the resort draws inspiration from Walt Disney's European adventures and his admiration for the French Riviera and Italian Riviera, with his travel images integrated into the resort's design. The resort officially opened its doors on December 16, 2019.
